Sometimes when you are in a new environment and everything around you seems to be happening for the first time, you still feel certain familiarities and closeness in people around you. The start of the Bentley MBA  with a bunch of people who are so diverse in geographies — 15 countries represented, speaking 21 different languages — and yet so close in the way they think and feel about themselves and about their future. The orientation for the course was a perfect synchronization of activities that helped us understand the course structure and also helped break the ice among the 23 new faces meeting each other. We had a tour of the campus and got essential priorities completed which gave me a sense of understanding of how the future looked. The full-day outdoor event at the Warren Center in Ashland was aimed at getting the creative juices flowing, and the cohort was on a new high with the different teamwork activities that were conducted by a team of experts. It felt like an unbelievable start to a wholesome journey of unexpected highs and abundant experiential learning opportunities. What really amazes me is the amount of energy that is packed into my class. I saw a different creative side of each person, and it made room for some interesting conversations!
