Writing Center director Larry Weinstein's play New Curtains for Macbeth had its world premiere at the Boston Playwrights' Theatre this month. The play, running through this weekend, was a finalist in the International Playwriting Festival last year. In a review, the Boston Phoenix described New Curtains as "innovative" and Weinstein as a "promising playwright."

WALTHAM, Mass. - Bentley College presents "All About the Square," an exhibit of black and white etchings by Boston artist Lisa Houck in the Art Gallery January 28 through February 27. An opening reception with the artist will be held on Friday, February 7 from 4:30-7:00 p.m. in the Art Gallery.
One hundred and fifty-eight Bentley College students will study abroad this semester, the largest number in the college's history. Jill Perry, director of the Cronin International Center, attributes the increased interest in study abroad, in part, to world events of the past 14 months.
