The Waltham Falcon Flyer is a great resource for exploring the local area and its offerings. This route will give you access to Gardencrest, Moody St, Hannaford’s Supermarket, and the commuter rail at Carter St., where you can also access MBTA buses. The TransLoc Rider mobile app provides live tracking, bus capacity, and arrival times, as well as important schedule updates. See schedules and additional shuttle details below.

Regular Hours

Travel time: Route takes an estimated 32 minutes.*

Stops include: LaCava, Corner of Linden and Middlesex Rd (Gardencrest), 100 Maple St (Corner of Moody St @ Maple St), 62 Russell St (Hannaford’s), 3 Carter St @ The Waltham Commuter Rail

Monday - Thursday*
7:15a.m. – 12:10a.m. | First shuttle departs LaCava at 7:15a.m.; last shuttle departs Commuter Rail at 12:10a.m.

Friday*
7:15a.m. – 1:14a.m. | First shuttle departs LaCava at 7:15a.m.; last shuttle departs Commuter Rail at 1:14a.m.

Saturday*
10:45a.m. – 1:00a.m. | First shuttle departs LaCava at 10:45a.m.; last shuttle departs Commuter Rail at 1:00a.m.

Sunday*
10:45a.m. – 10:20p.m. | First shuttle departs LaCava at 10:45a.m.; last shuttle departs Commuter Rail at 10:20p.m.

Resources available at each Shuttle Stop:

LaCava Shuttle Hub: Access B-Line, Harvard Square, and Falcon Flyer shuttles.  Access to all academic buildings. 
 
49 Linden Street: Dunkin, CVS, Petco, Gardencrest Apartments 

Moody Street and High Street:  Moody Street restaurants and shops, grocery offerings, ice cream, coffee shops and a thrift store. 
 
62 Russell Street: Hannafords grocery store, CVS, restaurants, Waltham Public Library. 
 
Carter Street/ Waltham Commuter Rail Station: City Hall, coffee shops, restaurants, Charles River Museum of Industry and Innovation, close to Moody Street, Charles River walking trails. 
 

Live Bus Tracking

The Campus Mobility Application, TransLoc Rider, provides live tracking of the Bentley shuttles, bus capacity and arrival times. Updates and information will be broadcast through the application. Feedback and concerns can also be received via the application.

Inclement Weather

The Bentley Community will receive an email with any schedule changes due to inclement weather. Also, schedule changes will be noted on the Transloc Rider app. All inclement weather-related policies can be found on the University Police site

Reminders 

  • All Bentley Shuttles are free. You need a CharlieCard or Cash when traveling from Waverly Square or Harvard Square to your next destination.
  • You must show a Bentley ID when boarding all Bentley shuttles.
  • No smoking, alcohol, food, or drink on the Bentley shuttle.
  • All departure times are approximate. Please arrive at designated bus stop at least 5 minutes before times shown on bentley.transloc.com.
