In our recent survey report, “The Millennial Mind Goes to Work: How Millennial Preferences will Shape the Future of the Modern Workplace,” we spoke directly with millennials about how prepared they feel for professional life, their preferences for the workplace and what they want out of their careers.

What we learned is that millennials are a passionate, responsible group. They crave personal communication, believe in work-life balance and value praise. They are loyal, entrepreneurial and believe in ethical business practices.

But what do today’s CEOs, the business leaders hiring this growing group of employees, have to say about millennials in the workplace?

In a four-part video series that starts today, “The Corner Office on Millennials,” we will take a look at what HubSpot CEO Brian Halligan, BNY Mellon CEO Larry Hughes and Bentley University President Gloria Larson think about the millennials they work with every day.

The first video, presented here, puts millennials and their CEO bosses side-by-side. It turns out their viewpoints aren’t so far apart after all.
