In this third in our video series, “The Corner Office on Millennials,” we were looking for the perspective of business leaders on how millennials change the workplace. So we asked CEOs Larry Hughes (BNY Mellon) and Brian Halligan (HubSpot) and Bentley University President Gloria Larson their take on this timely issue.

While they desire a flexible work schedule that doesn’t conform to the typical “9 to 5” model, Hughes, Halligan and Larson agree that millennials bring a new energy to the workplace, are passionate about their work and want to feel like they are contributing to social change. All three believe this makes millennials an asset in today’s workplace.

“What businesses and companies need to do,” says Halligan, “is transform their culture and leadership model to match the way millennials actually work and live, not the other way around.”
