Blog Hero Image - In the Know

Database of the Month: Financial Times Online (FT.com)

Financial Times Online (FT.com) goes beyond conventional business and financial analysis to cover the external drivers and trends shaping markets. A good example is its Moral Money newsletter that compiles news around the theme of Social Responsibility. And with Alphaville, you can take the pulse of markets through blog posts and aggregation of information from around the web on current business and finance topics. FT.com also carries out special investigations. Its initial reporting on Wirecard criticized its accounting practices and may have led to the criminal investigation and prosecution of its CEO, Marcus Braun. It also revealed the subtle nationalism that helped Wirecard escape scrutiny.

FT.com is replete with features that make it convenient to access and find content about what interests you. Sign in via Google or other search engine with your Bentley email and password directs you to your personal FT.com account, myFT. First time users will be required to register by filling out a short form. In myFT you will see any articles you saved, and articles that have appeared under topics you have selected for yourself:

FT.com provides the details, insight, and support aspiring professionals need to begin their corporate careers successfully. The Work & Careers section not only aggregates FT.com stories and opinions, it provides an Expert column for readers to post requests for advice, Dear Jonathan:
