Get Your Daily News (Online) at the Library

We've all recently heard the news that the Collegiate Readership Program has been suspended.  We know that many of you will probably opt to read the newspapers we used to receive -  The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, USA Today and The Boston Globe - online via their web sites.  However, while these websites provide the daily news for free, access to their archives often costs money.  We'd like to remind you that there are many ways you can get complete access to these newspapers (plus thousands more) for FREE via the library's databases. This includes their archives!  We recommend that you visit our News Resources page for complete details, but here are a few quick links to get you started.

  • New York Times
  • The Wall Street Journal
  • USA Today
  • The Boston Globe

Each of the above newspapers is available via the ProQuest Newsstand database. Clicking the newspaper name will allow you to browse the newspaper by date and/or to conduct a keyword search of the newspaper to retrieve articles by topic. If you have any questions about using the library's databases please contact the Reference Desk.
