As the Center for International Students and Scholars (CISS) team, we are here to help you obtain the proper paperwork needed to study, conduct research and work in the United States. Along with your peers, we also are available to help you in adjusting to life in the United States and at Bentley.
We are members of the National Association for International Educators and work closely with many external government, educational and civic groups to enhance Bentley international education.
Our advisers will assist you with the issuance of immigration documents, the submission of immigration-related applications, and general immigration matters. We focus on the F and J immigration categories for students and scholars.
Cultural Adjustment Programs
Our advisers provide you with guidance and support that eases the adjustment to life in the United States. Orientation, which is offered at the start of each semester, helps new international students learn about Bentley’s academic environment, as well as acclimate to American culture. Individual orientation is provided to international faculty and staff upon their arrival on campus.
We sponsor many activities to increase awareness of Bentley’s international and multicultural community. We also support and advise student organizations, including the International Students Association (ISA).
