Optional Practical Training (OPT) Information Sessions

If you would like to work in your major field of study in the U.S. after you graduate, you must attend one of these sessions.  During the session, you will get an overview of OPT, including how to determine your eligibility, how to apply, and how to maintain your status while you are on OPT. There will also be plenty of time for questions. Please visit the OPT page of our website for details.  All of the sessions present the same content.  They are just offered on different days.

Curricular Practical Training (CPT) Information Sessions

If you would like to do an internship in your major field of study in the  U.S., either over the summer or during the school year, you may be eligible to apply for CPT. To learn more about CPT, you should attend one of these sessions.  During the session, you will get an overview of CPT, including how to determine your eligibility, and how to apply for CPT. STEM OPT Information Sessions

If you hold a STEM degree, you may be eligible for a 2-year extension of your OPT. During the session, you will get an overview of STEM OPT,  including how to determine your eligibility, how to apply, what the reporting requirements are, and how to maintain your status while you are on STEM OPT.
