Books

Designing Your New Work Life

By Bill Burnett and Dave Evans. In Designing Your New Work Life, Burnett and Evans show us how design thinking can transform our present job, and how it can improve our experience of work in times of disruption. All disruption is personal, write Burnett and Evans, as with the life-altering global pandemic we are living through now. Designing Your New Work Life makes clear that disruption is the new normal, that it is here to stay and that it is accelerating. And in the book's new chapters, Burnett and Evans show us step by step, how to design our way through disruption and how to stay ahead of it—and thrive.

Never Search Alone: The Job Seeker's Playbook

By Phyl Terry. Based on 25 years of experience working with thousands of leaders – from early-career product managers to CEOs – Never Search Alone gives readers a time-tested, multi-step process (with exercises, tools, and templates) to find the right job now.

The 2-Hour Job Search

By Steve Dalton. Instead of providing laundry lists of “tips” which readers must trial-and-error through, The 2-Hour Job Search offers step-by-step, time-limited instructions for the most frustrating part of finding work — getting a first interview. This science-based process splits the job search into manageable pieces, each requiring at most 15 minutes, to help those looking for work conduct the best job search possible.
