Find/Post a Job

Use the job portal to connect with fellow alumni and future employers. Create an account using your alumni ID number. Once you’re logged in, you can post and search jobs, access the alumni directory and much more. To register as a non-alumni employer, send your company name, address, email and phone number to Alumni Career Development at We’ll respond to your request within two business days.

Every Bentley graduate has access to an Alumni Career Coach to help you jumpstart your next big step to take charge of your career. To schedule your 30-minute appointment, complete this online form.

Group Coaching

Bentley alumni can join our Fast Track Job Search Group. It meets weekly to connect alumni and help them stay focused and motivated throughout their search. The team will help you set and track activity goals toward your job search. Share your progress and get feedback from peers and Career Development professionals.

Bentley Industry Connector

Are you interested in supporting Bentley students and alumni with career advice? Do you have a network of colleagues, experts or professionals in a specific industry? If so, we encourage you to become a Bentley Industry Connector. We’ll ask you to:

  • Respond to emails from current students and alumni who have an interest in learning more about your industry 
  • Suggest additional connections or resources to support their networking and search for information 
  • Facilitate LinkedIn connections from your network (as appropriate)

Time commitment: Varies; approximately 1 hour per month

Recruit a Bentley Student

Post your open positions and internships for students on Handshake. If you don't have an account, you can easily create one. Signing up takes less than 5 minutes. For additional assistance, please contact

Time commitment: As often as you have positions

Alumni in Residence 

Share your expertise and knowledge with undergraduate or graduate students through a series of 20-minute, one-on-one conversations.

Time commitment: Minimum of 2 hours; available throughout the academic year

Professional Development Workshop

Develop and deliver a workshop focused on case/technical interview preparation, business etiquette and/or salary negotiations. The audience may include students and alumni.

Time commitment: Minimum of 2 hours; available throughout the academic year

Career Communities

Lead small group discussions about your industry experience to support students as they define their path beyond Bentley.

Timing: Throughout the academic year

Career Fairs

Attend a virtual or in-person career fair and hire Bentley talent! Come to an event to promote open positions and opportunities at your company. For more information, please visit our Employer Relations and Recruiting page.

We want you to make a great first impression. Backed by research about how resumes are collected, read and evaluated, we’ve prepared a comprehensive Alumni Resume and Cover Letter Guide. European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD)

Bentley is a member school of EFMD's global network. The EFMD career portal connects you to global opportunities, where corporate members of EFMD’s global network post internship and job opportunities. You can also access global organizations and their full-time opportunities by participating in a series of virtual career fairs this October. These virtual fairs enable you to have real-time interaction with recruiters from leading companies and organizations. To view and register for a virtual career fair, you'll first be prompted to create an account on Bentley’s Highered platform.


Use Glassdoor to explore company reviews, salary information and interview tips from past and current employees. Glassdoor also has job boards and relevant blogs.


GoinGlobal connects you to more than 16 million internship and job listings, plus city and country career guides. With an alumni account, you get free access to job search tools and location-specific salary and cost-of-living data. GoinGlobal also describes work permit regulations and global employment trends, and gives you practical tips for resume writing and multicultural working and interviewing.
