National Library Week

It's National Library Week and we want to hear from you! Answer our Question of the Day

Printing, Scanning, Copying, & Faxing

In addition to being your library card, your Bentley University ID is also your print card. It is preloaded with funds for you to be able to print. You are allotted funds each semester based on your academic status on campus:

  • Full Time Graduate Students $100.00 (nine credits or more)
  • All Undergraduate Students $40.00
  • PhD Students $250.00

If you are not a current Bentley student, you are still able to print by using our "Guest" card and paying with cash or check. Please see the Library Services Desk for help.

Once ready to print, choose either Falcon Color Print or Falcon Print (set to print double-sided by default) from your list of available printers. Each page printed will be deducted from your semester allowance.

  • Black and White copies are charged at $.05 for single-sided and $.045 for double-sided
  • Color copies are charged at $.24 for single-sided and $.23 for double-sided.

Bring your ID within 48 hours to one of the printer locations in the library or around campus to pick up your print job.

IT Client Services oversees all printing on campus. For any issues or problems with library printers, please contact the IT Client Services Help Desk.

For more information about printing on campus, including software installation directions and printer locations, visit Falcon Printing.

Networked printers, color or black and white, are located throughout the library. There are two print rooms on the Main Floor, one on the Lower Level, and one on the Upper Level. Find Printers

There are scanners available for use in the Library in both the upper level and lower level print room. Both scanners create PDFs that can be e-mailed or saved on a flash drive. There is no charge for using the scanners.

A photocopier is located in the lower level printing room. Copying is free and instructions for use can be found posted on the machine. See Library Services for assistance.

Also located in the Lower Level printing room is a fax machine for public use. You can send and receive faxes at this machine. There are instructions posted on how to send a fax. To receive a fax, the number is 781.891.3140.
