The RSM Gallery is pleased to present “Ideas to Postpone the End of the World” a solo exhibition by Julia Csekö, titled in homage to the book by renowned Brazilian Indigenous activist and leader, Ailton Krenak. The exhibition features Csekö’s socially engaged text-based works, from her wearable welcome dresses, storied flags, and paintings from the Speaking Truth to Power series. 

We invite you to celebrate the opening of the exhibit with us on Thursday, March 19. An artist talk will begin at 5:00 p.m. and a reception follows from 5:30–7:00pm.

RSM Art Gallery proudly presents The Resurrection of Ifé Franklin, a solo exhibition of drawings and mixed media sculptures by Ifé Franklin, whose multi-genre artistic practice is inspired by slave narratives, dreams, dance, song, and visions. All are invited to the artist talk and opening reception on Thursday, January 23, 5:00-7:00pm. The talk will start at 5:00pm and reception follows from 5:30-7:00pm. We hope you can join us!

The RSM Gallery is proud to premiere shear pleasure, new photography and sculpture by alina balseiro. Please join us at the opening reception on Wednesday, November 6, 5:00-7:00pm. An artist talk will start at 6:00pm.  Additionally, a special live hair-cutting performance will be held in the gallery on Sunday, November 17, at 12:00pm.  All are invited to attend both events.
