The Writing Center and the ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) Center are now accepting appointments for the spring semester.  The tutors at both centers have the desire and expertise to help you improve your skills and to feel more confident. Don't wait until the last minute - start the semester off right by utilizing these valuable resources! Both centers are located on the lower level of the library. Awards season is just around the corner when Hollywood bestows various honors related to film and television. Whether you are a cinephile or a casual viewer, the Internet Movie Database, or IMDb, can be a wonderful resource to help you navigate the ins and outs of the industry.

Please join us at the opening reception for the second Bentley centennial exhibit - The Bentley Campus: From Boston to Waltham - on Wednesday, January 18, at 12:30 p.m. Trustee emeritus and Centennial Committee chairman, George Fantini ‘64, will offer brief remarks.  Light refreshments will be served. We hope to see you there!

In keeping with tradition, we have spent the last couple of months combing through some of our favorite reviewer's year-end best books lists* to bring you our 8th annual Best Books display. Stop by the library's lobby to browse 2016's best fiction and nonfiction titles. With over 160 books to choose from, we are certain you will find something to capture your interest.

The library's hours will be extended during wintersession classes, Monday, January 9 - Friday, January 13, 2017:

Monday, January 9 – Thursday, January 12: 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.

Friday, January 13: 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

The library will be closed for the weekend and on Monday, January 16, in observance of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day.

Saturday, January 14 – Monday, January  16 (holiday): CLOSED

Please note that the Deloitte Cafe (Einstein’s) is closed until Tuesday, January 17.

Tuesday, January 3 – Thursday, January 5: 8:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.

Friday, January 6: 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

Saturday, January 7 & Sunday, January 8: CLOSED

The library's hours will change again when wintersession classes begin on Monday, January 9.

Don't forget to return your library books and DVDs before leaving town for winter break! You can view your checked out items and their due dates by logging-in to your library account. If you plan to stay in the local area and use the library during break, you may renew your items online.

Bentley University and the Bentley Library are closed for Winter Break Friday, December 23, 2016, through Monday, January 2, 2017. The library will reopen at 8:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 3, 2017.
