The art gallery has been transformed into a stress-free zone for exam period.  While the gallery is always a quiet, contemplative place, this week we've equipped the space with stress-busting activities to help you renew, regroup and refresh. You'll find jigsaw puzzles, crosswords, and other quiet games to give your brain a break.

May 1 - May 3 the gallery will be stocked with water and snack bars to help you re-energize!

This semester the library's 24-hour access for final exams begins at 7:30am on Monday, April 29 (the day before Reading Day) and ends at 9:00pm on Thursday, May 9 (last day of exams). *Please note the Saturday night/Sunday morning exception - because everyone should take a little break from studying!

Now showing in the McGladrey Art Gallery is Making Home, a series of graphite drawings by artist Heidi Hogden.  All are invited to attend an opening reception for the artist on Wednesday, April 24, from 5:00pm-7:00pm. The Bentley University Library recently acquired access to a number of databases from Gale Cengage Learning as part of the Massachusetts Board of Library Commissioners (MBLC) statewide database licensing program.  Included in the collection are five titles from Gale’s “In Context” series of electronic resources:

On March 20, the Bentley Library Information Literacy Series hosted a panel of three experts and a moderator to talk about the phenomenon of personalization on the Internet known as the “filter bubble.” In case you missed it, we are happy to announce that the video is now available streaming (here).

Please note that we are making one very small adjustment to our hours for the Patriots' Day holiday.  On Monday, April 15 (Patriots' Day), we will open a little later than normal - at 10:00am.  We are open normal hours on Saturday and Sunday.  The Deloitte Café/Einstein's has adjusted their hours on Saturday and Monday.

Saturday, April 13: library: 9:00am – 7:00 pm café: noon - 6:00pm

Sunday, April 14: library: 10:00am – 2:00am café: noon - 9:00pm
