Are you ready for summer session? We are! Not much changes at the Bentley Library during the summer; library staff continue to provide services and resources both in-person and online. Here’s what we have planned for this summer:


Status Update: Online Library Services & Resources

The Bentley Library is following the University health and safety guidelines announced on March 11. The building is not currently accessible for browsing or studying, but library staff will continue to provide services and resources online to the Bentley community. We will continue to post updates here and on the Library Status and Services page.


Library Opens February 2. What to Know Before You Go!

We are excited to re-open our doors for Spring 2021! Any member of the Bentley community who is enrolled in the University’s COVID-19 testing program is welcome to visit the library starting Monday, February 1, 2021 Tuesday, February 2, 2021. Please be prepared to show your Bentley ID and display a current COVID testing program wristband to enter.


Library Status & Services: January 19-31

Happy New Year! Like all of you, the Library has been busy preparing for the start of online classes on January 19th. During the first two weeks of the trimester library staff will continue to provide services and resources online to the Bentley community. We plan to reopen the building on February 1st, barring any changes to the University’s scheduled resumption of in-person operations. We will post updated information here when we reopen.

Libraries across America are caring for their patrons in so many ways. We are still very much a part of teaching, learning, scholarship and service during the COVID-19 pandemic, but we are just doing it remotely. Bentley librarians are providing research instruction to classes through Zoom, answering reference questions via chat, email and text services, and having virtual meetings with students and faculty. ...
