Celebrate the season with us as we dive into a relaxed, hands‑on crafting session all about floral fiber arts—especially crocheted flowers! Whether you’re excited to stitch, embroider, or bring a bouquet of flowers to life, we’ll explore a variety of techniques to help your creativity blossom.

We’ll have plenty of supplies and guidance on hand. Just bring your creativity! Whether you enjoy cross‑stitching, knitting, crocheting, weaving, sewing, or exploring any other fiber arts, this is a perfect chance to share your skills or try something new.

The Rise of the Doomsday Machine

We all recently advanced our clocks by one hour, springing forward into longer days and later sunsets.

The RSM Gallery is pleased to present “Ideas to Postpone the End of the World” a solo exhibition by Julia Csekö, titled in homage to the book by renowned Brazilian Indigenous activist and leader, Ailton Krenak. The exhibition features Csekö’s socially engaged text-based works, from her wearable welcome dresses, storied flags, and paintings from the Speaking Truth to Power series. 

We invite you to celebrate the opening of the exhibit with us on Thursday, March 19. An artist talk will begin at 5:00 p.m. and a reception follows from 5:30–7:00pm.  

It's been a loooong winter, and spring break can't come soon enough! The library is open with modified hours during the break - stop in to borrow books and movies, catch up on some work, or just to enjoy the quiet. Please check our spring break schedule before visiting to make sure we are open.

To celebrate Women's History Month, we invited the Center for Women and Business to share their must-read favorites. They came through with fantastic suggestions—presenting this year’s CWB Staff Picks! 

Take a breather from midterms and join us this Wednesday for a relaxed, hands on crafting session about stitching, embroidering, and embellishing—all things letters, especially creating your own letter B!

Bentley University has canceled day classes on Tuesday, February 24, with a decision about evening classes forthcoming. The Library will be open on Tuesday from 4:00-10:00pm.

Due to the impending snowstorm, the Bentley Library will be closing at 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 22.
