Bentley University and the Bentley Library are closed for Winter Break Wednesday, December 23, 2015, through Sunday, January 3, 2016. The library will reopen at 8:00 a.m. on Monday, January 4, 2016.

Please note that the Deloitte Cafe (Einstein's) will be closed until spring classes begin on Tuesday, January 19, 2016.

Avoid those annoying email notices and fines by returning your library books and DVDs before leaving town for winter break. You can view your checked out items and their due dates by logging-in to your library account.

The staff of the Bentley Library invites you to a Reading Day study break. Coffee, tea, hot chocolate and snacks will be available on Tuesday, December 15th, at 2:00 p.m. in the atrium in front of the art gallery (while supplies last). Take some time to refresh and refuel!

The library is excited to host a Take a Paws session on Reading Day. Thanks to the Center for Health and Wellness, therapy dogs will be in the library's art gallery on Tuesday, December 15th, from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Why have therapy dogs at the library? As many of you have recently heard, Bentley’s fourth President Gregory H. Adamian passed away on November 21, 2015 at the age of eighty nine. Dr. Adamian’s involvement with Bentley spanned six decades, including twenty-one impressive and influential years as our President. During those years, President Adamian helped to develop Bentley’s curriculum, expand our beloved campus, and increase the school’s endowment. He was consistently committed to providing a valuable education to Bentley students so that they could become capable, engaged leaders.

The library's 24-hour access for final exams begins at 7:30 a.m. on Monday, December 14 (the day before Reading Day) and ends at 9:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 22 (last day of exams). *Please note the weekend exception: The library will close at 9:00 p.m. Saturday night and reopen at 10:00 a.m.

Holiday hours will be in effect at the Bentley Library from Tuesday, November 24 through Sunday, November 29:

Tuesday, November 24: 7:30 a.m. – 9:00 p.m.

Wednesday, November 25 - Saturday, November 28: Closed

Sunday, November 29: 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 a.m.

Now showing in the McGladrey Art Gallery are the 2015 International Education Photo Contest winners and finalists.  You don't want to miss this exhibit of  breathtaking photographs taken by Bentley University students, faculty and staff!

 On display, from November 17, 2015 to January 4, 2016, at the Bentley Library is an interdisciplinary collection of books highlighting research about data. Included are popular and scholarly works about collecting it, obtaining it, analyzing it, evaluating it and finally accounting for it.
