In construction, everyone is always thinking several steps ahead. So while the site currently resembles the set of Frozen, ironically, some people on the construction crew are thinking about the fireproofing that will need to be done in the coming weeks. And I think I can speak on behalf of the entire team when I say that we're looking forward to spring, maybe even more than our Bentley seniors!

Welcome back to campus and to a true New England winter! While the rest of campus was relatively quiet over the break, Adamian was a hive of activity. And though the recent storm has added another layer of complexity (as well as ice and snow) to the project, our construction crew has plenty of experience in working through what January dishes out.

On September 19 we held a celebratory groundbreaking ceremony that included leadership donors, our construction partners, and staff and faculty who are helping to make the Adamian renovation possible. Our crew continues to make steady progress, with visible changes happening inside the building.

As everyone comes back to campus in the next couple weeks, you'll notice changes underway with the renovation of the Adamian Center. The new “scrim” (fabric material on the construction fence) is in place around the perimeter. Inside the fence, crews are hard at work on demolition within the building.
