William Bacic is the New England managing partner for Deloitte & Touche LLP. He leads a team of 1,600 professionals serving clients throughout the region and is directly responsible for overseeing relationships with many of Deloitte’s most significant clients.
In addition to his professional commitments, Bacic is tireless in sharing his knowledge and his extensive network of relationships to assist nonprofits in fulfilling their missions. The organizations he works with directly have a strong focus on youth development, education and corporate diversity.
He currently serves as the chair of the Dean's Advisory Council for the Villanova School of Business, chair of the Corporate Advisory Board for The Boston Club, chair-elect of the Board of Directors for the United Way of Massachusetts Bay and Merrimack Valley, chair of the Advisory Board for the Boy Scouts’ Boston Minuteman Council, and the Executive Committee of the Massachusetts Business Roundtable.
Bacic is also committed to integrating Deloitte’s initiatives, such as Diversity and Inclusion, Women’s Initiative (WIN) and Community Involvement, into his external community activities. He is involved as a co-chair for The Rosoff Awards – an annual event that honors companies and individuals that promote diversity in the workplace – and as chair of the Corporate Advisory Board for The Boston Club, where he works to improve board diversity.
A recent the highly coveted United Way Tocqueville Society award and was selected by the Boston Business Journal as one of the Power 50 Most Influential Bostonians.
He is a Certified Public Accountant and holds a BS in Accounting from Villanova University.
