The EDGAR (Electronic Data Gathering, Analysis and Retrieval) database is an electronic filing system created by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) to increase the efficiency and accessibility of corporate filings.

The Statistical Abstract of the United States is the authoritative and comprehensive summary of statistics on the social, political, and economic organization of the United States. The site provides data from the U.S. Census Bureau, Bureau of Labor Statistics, Bureau of Economic Analysis, other Federal agencies, and private organizations. 

PrivCo enables you to learn and research the world of private markets, both the companies seeking investment, and the firms and people that make that investment happen. Private markets are constantly evolving, with new companies and industries popping up to meet new needs. While other directories update company profiles periodically, PrivCo reflects changes soon after they happen giving you the current M&A information needed to discern trends in buyer behavior relative to financials, investment type, and valuation.

The library is very pleased to announce the addition of MRI-Simmons Insights to our collection of marketing and consumer research databases. MRI-Simmons Insights is replacing Mediamark University Reporter, which will be deactivated at the end of June.

This month the Bentley Library is highlighting two notable selections from our Gale OneFile collection of databases: Diversity Studies and Gender Studies.

Gale EBooks is an excellent assist for online education, especially for those working remotely. Instructors can embed content on a website or in a Blackboard site. Gale EBooks needs no special downloads or apps, making it a friendly resource for various types of device and student skill levels. There is no limit to the number of people who can view the item at one time, and users can access the book without a checkout.
