Inspired by the RSM Gallery’s “Boston in 100 Words” exhibit, the library brings you Boston Beyond 100 Words, a display of books set in Boston. 

Our latest display places the spotlight on some of the most notable and interesting nonfiction received at the library during the last six months. Bentley Library Staff have hand-picked these books from each of their areas of interest to bring attention to titles you may have missed when they were first added to the shelves. You'll find a wide variety of highly recommended academic titles, as well as bestselling nonfiction that will appeal to all readers.

We're celebrating the top books and audiobooks of 2021 with our 13th annual Best Books display! This year's display features more than 250 titles that appeared on 19 year-end best books lists.*

Somehow, 2021 is almost over already! Do you have a reading goal for the year that you’re still trying to reach? Or maybe you just want to grab a book that you can start and finish relatively quickly? Then this display is for you! Every title is under 240 pages (some titles are well under 100!) and the selections span multiple genres. You’ll find literary fiction, memoir, horror, fantasy, non-fiction, poetry, graphic novels, and more.

The library’s new display is all about us humans and the animals in our lives. The collection of nonfiction, fiction, and film focuses on the special relationship between humans and animals: exploring how animals affect us and what we can learn from them. Come by the library to make a new animal friend!

Bentley Library is proud to celebrate Black History Month!  This month, we are highlighting books, audiobooks, and films that honor Black Voices and Black Stories. Whether ebooks or print books, streaming films or DVDs, or digital audiobooks or CDs we have the resources to help inspire and educate you.

We're celebrating the best of 2020 - best books, that is! This year's display features more than 190 titles that appeared on 17 year-end best books lists.* Visit the Best Books of 2020 display website to browse by category (fiction or nonfiction) and format (print or electronic).
