Melanie Foley, MBA ’02

Melanie Foley is executive vice president and chief people, purpose and brand officer at Liberty Mutual Insurance, the ninth-largest global property and casualty insurer. She leads Liberty Mutual’s talent, brand and communications, community investments, sustainability, and strategy, insights and inclusive experience functions to enable a high-performing and inclusive culture that results in employee pride and partner trust. Since joining Liberty Mutual in 1996, she has held several leadership positions and has been responsible for leading global organizational transformations and driving talent and enterprise strategies that enable business success and enhance employee experiences. In the last two years, her role expanded to include a focus on purpose and inclusive experience. In addition, Melanie serves on the board of directors at HopeWell, a nonprofit foster care agency and youth support organization. She is also a board member of the Massachusetts Conference for Women. She received her BS in Marketing from Boston College and an MBA from Bentley College.
