Marketing and Communication Inclusive Excellence

Learn and Connect

As Bentley’s Marketing and Communications division, we tell the university’s stories. Doing that to our fullest potential, however, first requires that we’re all comfortable telling ours. That’s why Inclusive Excellence is the foundation of all our division’s projects and policies. Here, we celebrate the authentic self and encourage each other to be different while still working together. Because everyone should feel comfortable and confident being themselves.

Book Club with Diane!

Calling all Bookworms! Building off the success of the first three book clubs, Diane is encouraging anyone interested to read Mad Honey, a murder mystery involving a trans-gendered person. We promise a good read followed by a lively discussion at lunch.

Kelly Milligan Wins Inaugural Chili Cook Off

The entire MarComm division came together on February 13 to sample different themed chilis made by our colleagues. With six distinctively different entrants, the judges had the difficult task of ranking the top three. Competition was fierce and recipes were kept under lock and key, but Kelly Milligan emerged victorious thanks to her delicious Pumpkin Chicken creation. In addition to the trophy, hat and bragging rights, Kelly walked away with a Chipotle gift card to recognize her achievement. Thanks to everyone who participated.

What Do You Celebrate?

Please share important cultural, religious or other celebrations with us! International Day for Tolerance, for example, promotes respect for various religions, languages, ethnicities and cultures. Breast Cancer Awareness Month helps raise awareness of the impact of breast cancer. July is National Ice Cream Month. What’s your favorite celebration, movement or day of recognition, and why is it meaningful to you? Email IE 3.0 and we will share on the website.
