University Sponsored International Travel
The Policy on University Sponsored International Travel outlines the general guidelines for Bentley faculty and staff who are expected to travel on authorized business in furtherance of the University's tax-exempt mission.
It is important to note that this policy is not intended to supersede the general Bentley Travel Policy. Instead, it aims to provide further clarity to faculty and staff who will engage in University Sponsored International Travel. Bentley is committed to fiscal responsibility and stewardship, ensuring that all expenses are reasonable, necessary, within the approved budget, and represent a bona fide business purpose. This policy applies to all University Sponsored International Travel, regardless of the funding source or payment method.
In an effort to provide better information, resources and access to insurance coverage for all faculty and staff participating in University Sponsored International Travel, and to help University Leadership better understand the destinations and frequency at which faculty and staff travel; the University has implemented a mandatory travel registration process for all University Sponsored International Travel.

Initiating A Report
All members of the Bentley University community are expected to report any suspected abuse or neglect of a minor. It outlines what qualifies as abuse (physical, emotional, or sexual harm) and neglect (failure to provide basic care such as food, shelter, or supervision). Reporting is important even if someone is unsure, and that the university has processes in place to review and address concerns while involving appropriate internal offices when necessary. If someone is unsure whether to report, they are encouraged to contact University Police for guidance, and additional support is available through university leadership and Human Resources.
