Brian T. Zino ’74

For over 25 years, Brian was employed by J. & W. Seligman and Co. Incorporated, a privately held New York City investment firm managing Closed End Investment Companies, a family of mutual funds, institutional accounts and operating a trust company. For the last 15 of those years, he served as president and CEO of Seligman. The firm was sold in 2008 and Brian is now retired. He currently serves on the boards of directors of the Virtus Total Return Fund, Virtus Global Dividend & Income Fund, Virtus Global Multi-Sector Fund and Duff & Phelps Select Energy MLP Fund, all NYSE-listed companies. Brian served previously on the board of Tri-Continental Corporation, a NYSE-listed company; the boards of the various Seligman investment companies; the board of governors of the Investment Company Institute; and the board of ICI Mutual Insurance Company. Prior to Seligman, Brian worked for eight years at PriceWaterhouse as an audit manager. He received his Bachelor of Science in Accountancy from Bentley, magna cum laude, in 1974 and became a CPA in New York in 1977. Brian also completed the Advanced Management Program at Harvard University in 1992. He has served on the board of trustees since 2011.
