Adamian Renovation: June 2026 Highlights

Dear Bentley community,

Every year, summer transforms our campus, but this year is exceptional. Not only do we have a World Cup soccer team playing on our fields, but just up the hill progress on the Adamian building is moving quickly.

This month's update shows how the designer's vision is being brought to life. And after last winter's cold and difficult working conditions, now we can begin to look ahead to the second year of renovations with operational plumbing, electrical and weather-proof conditions for the teams to work in.

Here are some of the key project highlights this month:

Construction progress:

• Structural steel installation is now complete, marking a significant milestone in the project's transformation.
• Roofing work is underway and will soon make the building fully weather-tight, allowing interior construction to accelerate.
• Mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP) systems continue to take shape on the second floor.
• Framing has begun on the second floor, creating the outlines of future classrooms, labs, collaboration spaces and offices.
• Exterior site work is also advancing, including installation of water lines for the building's cooling system and permanent utility connections.

Upcoming phases: 

• Roofing work will be completed.
• Second-floor inspections will verify electrical, mechanical and structural components before walls are enclosed with drywall.
• Mechanical, electrical and plumbing installation will continue on the first floor.
• Similar inspections are planned for the first floor in the coming weeks.
• Utility work will continue in front of the building as crews make permanent infrastructure connections.
