Hult Prize Partnership

A global pathway for Bentley innovators to compete for $1M in social impact funding

Objective

Bentley E-Hub is excited to partner with Hult Prize Foundation a global competition known as the “Nobel Prize for Students.” This partnership establishes a strategic pathway for Bentley student ventures to progress from the E-Hub Incubator into a global competition platform. It ensures that high-potential teams with strong social-impact missions are identified early and supported through the transition into the national and global stages of Hult Prize. Through this pathway, students gain access to professional mentorship, international exposure, structured venture-development opportunities, and the possibility of securing transformative funding that can elevate their ideas from student projects into globally competitive social enterprises.

Purpose

This collaboration is designed to strengthen the capacity of Bentley entrepreneurs to create scalable, mission-driven ventures that address some of the world’s most pressing challenges. By aligning with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), the partnership encourages students to think beyond traditional business metrics and focus on building solutions that generate lasting social, environmental, and economic impact.Through dedicated training, pitch development, mentorship, and logistical support, the E-Hub helps prepare selected ventures to perform confidently at each stage of the Hult Prize competition. This preparation enhances the quality and clarity of their business models, sharpens their impact strategies, and positions Bentley teams to compete and succeed alongside top university innovators from around the world.

About Hult Prize

Hult Prize is a global social innovation competition that challenges student teams to build ventures that create meaningful, measurable impact. Each year, the challenge is tied to one or more United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), encouraging students to tackle issues such as poverty, climate change, health, education, employment, and sustainability through entrepreneurial solutions. Student teams are invited to design bold, practical, and scalable business solutions that directly contribute to addressing these issues.

Bentley’s partnership with Hult Prize provides E-Hub teams with a unique strategic advantage: direct entry into the Nationals round. This gives selected ventures immediate visibility at a high level of the competition, where their ideas are evaluated not only on market readiness and business potential but also on the strength and clarity of their social impact. By participating, Bentley students gain access to global mentors, cross-cultural collaboration, accelerator opportunities, and a community of innovators committed to building a more sustainable and equitable world.

Bentley’s Nomination to the Hult Prize Nationals

At the end of Phase 3 of the E-Hub Incubator (Feb 2026), our judges will identify two ventures that demonstrate:

  • Strong potential for global social impact
  • Alignment with at least one UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) ➡️
  • A clear business model that goes beyond profit to “change the world"

These teams may be the Phase 3 winners or other high-performing venture participating in the Incubator program.

Once selected, E-Hub will officially nominate two teams to the Hult Prize National Competition, allowing them to enter directly into Stage 2 (Nationals) of the global competition, giving them a direct pathway into one of the world’s leading student impact accelerators.
