How did your Bentley scholarship positively impact you?

I received the Women’s Leadership Scholarship as well as a Dean’s Scholarship. I’m incredibly grateful for the generosity of the donors who make scholarships like these possible. Their support has made a meaningful difference in my college experience and opened doors for me that I never imagined.

Can you share a specific moment during your Bentley experience that you're particularly proud of?

One moment I’m really proud of was working at the CIS Sandbox as a tutor. I got the chance to help students with coding and technical concepts, which not only deepened my own understanding, but also helped me grow as a communicator and mentor. It was rewarding to pass on what I had learned and see others grow in confidence too.

What has been your favorite class?

CS180 was definitely my favorite class. It introduced me to Java and foundational programming skills, and Professor Higgins made it incredibly engaging and fun. Her enthusiasm and clear explanations helped everything click, and it’s a big part of what sparked my interest in computer science.

Who has your favorite mentor been and why?

My peer mentor from my previous internship at MITRE has been a huge source of support. She helped me navigate questions about post-grad life, offered career advice and always encouraged me to stay confident in my abilities.

How has Bentley provided opportunities for you to grow and excel?

Career services has been such a valuable resource. Shoutout to my amazing career coach, Melissa Giunta, as she helped me every step of the way, from resumes to interviews, and really gave me the confidence to pursue the role I’ll be starting after graduation.

What's one piece of advice you would give to a future Bentley student?

Join clubs and get involved on campus! Some of my best memories have come from helping out at campus events and being part of student organizations. It’s a great way to meet people and try new things.

What will you miss most about Bentley?

Einstein’s Cafe! I’ll definitely miss the cozy vibe (and the veggie melts)!

Support leaders like Ash.
