Why I Give
Alumni giving reflects a shared commitment to the continued growth and impact of Bentley University. Through their support, alumni and friends help expand opportunities, strengthen programs, and ensure that future students can benefit from transformative experiences. This collective generosity plays a vital role in sustaining the university’s mission and shaping what comes next.
“What inspires me to continue to give to Bentley is gratitude. My time at Bentley introduced me to people who inspired me and opportunities opened that allowed me to discover what I’m capable of. Giving back allows me to honor that investment and pay it forward, so future students can access the same support, education, and sense of possibility that I did.”
“College Rugby gave me lifelong friendships, leadership skills, and a network that still shapes my life today. I give to honor that legacy and ensure future players experience the same camaraderie, growth, and pride on and off the field.”
“When I was 17, considering colleges and my future path, my dad said to me, 'If you go to Bentley, you could do anything.' He was right. Now as a Trustee, I get to witness Bentley's lasting impact on students' lives and careers — and watch our alumni become a force for good across every sector, from business to nonprofit. Through the Women of the Bentley Board Challenge, I give because I want more young women to see Bentley as their path to uplift people and organizations, lead with courage and confidence and create a future without limits.”
“Falcons Forward donors make an immediate difference for our students. Since 2020, the Student Hardship Fund has supported more than 450 students facing urgent needs — from grocery insecurity and medical expenses to housing emergencies. Because of donor generosity, we can continue showing up for students when they need it most.”
“Bentley played a key role in shaping both my personal and professional journey, and Falcons Forward Giving Day feels like a meaningful opportunity to give back in a collective way. I’m inspired by the idea that even small contributions, when combined, can create a real impact for students—whether through academic resources, student experiences, or future opportunities. Giving on this day feels like being part of something bigger than myself.”
