Bentley University Offers Expert on Yahoo Data Breach

Steve Weisman, senior lecturer at Bentley University and leading expert on cyber security, is available to comment on the data breach of consumer data for 500 million accounts at Yahoo. While this data breach is massive, Weisman says that it is not unusual and brings up the question of what people should do to protect themselves, knowing that they will most likely become a victim of data breach in the future.

Weisman can discuss:

  • What people should be doing if they are victims of the Yahoo data breach
  • Who the likely hackers are and why they did it
  • How to create a strong password, security question, and protect online privacy
