Dear Bentley community,
I am pleased to let you know that Bentley University has purchased and will renovate two apartment buildings directly adjacent to campus to increase our on-campus housing capacity. This opportune development comes at a time when both enrollment and student demand are at an all-time high. This housing expansion marks the latest chapter in Bentley’s long trajectory from a primarily commuter school to the robust, place-based educational experience that today’s students seek.
Located on Waverley Oaks Road, the twin buildings are directly across the street from the Access Road that winds through lower campus. Once renovated, the residence halls will house about 60 to 70 students in 24 one- and two-bedroom apartments. We expect to open the new residence halls in time for the fall 2026 semester.
As with all Bentley housing, students in the new buildings will benefit from all campus services and amenities, including those provided by the Residential Center, Bentley Facilities and the University Police. An updated shuttle bus route and improved walking paths will aid residents in accessing existing campus facilities.
This strategic investment reflects our commitment to providing all our students with access to a tightknit campus community where they can thrive academically, physically and emotionally.
Sincerely,
President Chrite
