Community Engagement Sessions

Nov. 4, 2021

Dear Faculty and Staff,

Last month, I shared with our community the next steps for the strategic positioning process that will help to define the next chapter of our university. Since then, the four strategic priority committees have been hard at work and are eager to engage with the community. The important work of our committees will benefit from the thoughtful involvement of faculty, staff, students and alumni along the way, and I’m excited to share the first opportunity for our community to get involved.

Over the course of the next two weeks, each strategic priority committee will be holding a first virtual community engagement session to begin collecting feedback and more directly share how they will position Bentley for continued success. I invite each member of this community to join a session and participate in these thoughtful discussions. I recognize that this is a busy time of year as we approach the Thanksgiving break and the push to the end of the semester. There will be additional engagement sessions in the future, as well as opportunities to run independent sessions within your own departments and teams.

You may sign up for any and all of these first round of sessions by clicking on the links below:

Culture and Values
Wednesday, Nov. 10 from 10:00 a.m. – 11:15 a.m.

Resource Stewardship
Thursday, Nov. 11, 1:00 p.m. – 2:15 p.m.

In addition to these sessions, you may submit feedback or questions using this form, which can also be found on the strategic positioning webpage.

As I have shared before, the work that we are undertaking together to define a vision for our university will ensure our success for the next decade and beyond. I’m looking forward to what comes next, and I hope you will join us.

Most Sincerely,
Brent Chrite
