Pathways for Women in Business course is a dynamic, week-long pre-college program designed specifically for female high school students interested in exploring exciting and rewarding careers in business. Through interactive sessions, field trips and mentoring workshops led by Bentley faculty, the top-ranked Pulsifer Career Development Center, and the Gloria Cordes Larson Center for Women and Business, students gain real-world insight into industries and business roles.
Take skills and values assessments, explore college majors and build the leadership skills essential for success in any field. This program gives women the tools, confidence and community to start shaping their future. Whether you’re drawn to finance, marketing, entrepreneurship or something else altogether, you’ll get a taste of college life on Bentley’s campus and connect with like-minded young women.

Laura Jackson Young is the Gibbons Professor of Economics at Bentley University. She holds a PhD and MS in Economics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a BS in Managerial Economics from Bentley University.
