Innovation and Design for Aspiring Women Entrepreneurs

Dive into a transformative week-long, summer program designed for women+ students eager to explore innovation, experience design, and entrepreneurship. Through immersive site visits, design challenges, interactive workshops, and mentorship from experienced entrepreneurs, you'll tackle real-world problems with creativity and confidence. Collaborate with peers, develop a unique solution, and deliver a powerful pitch presentation—all while gaining foundational business insights in a supportive and inspiring environment.

 

Business of Health Innovation

The week-long summer program offers students a comprehensive exploration of how business principles drive the health industry innovation, blending hands-on experiences with strategic frameworks like stakeholder analysis, systems thinking, and patient journey mapping. Through immersive field trips, including visits to different labs and Bentley's VR classroom, participants gain firsthand insights into cutting-edge health technologies. The program also emphasizes professional skills, such as sales pitches, while distinguishing innovation from invention. By integrating business, technology, and the health industry, this program prepares students to lead in the evolving landscape of health innovation. Program highlights include a stakeholder analysis, systems thinking, customer journey mapping and Porter's Five Forces.

Accounting Adventures: Converting Dreams to Dollars

The Accounting Adventures Program offers high school students a hands-on introduction to accounting, business planning, and financial budgeting in a 3-day on campus program. Dive into the essentials of accounting and business planning through interactive sessions and real-world applications. Get inspired by our successful “Dreams to Dollars” event, where you’ll brainstorm business ideas, develop comprehensive plans, and create financial budgets. Learn from Bentley faculty and industry leaders from MassCPAs and EY, who will mentor you every step of the way. Finally, pitch your business ideas to a panel of experts in a thrilling “Shark Tank”-style presentation. Program highlights include brainstorming, business planning, budgeting, mentorship and real-world experience.
