Fitness for the E-Hub Incubator

The E-Hub Incubator can support several paths to entrepreneurship. If your start-up venture fits any of the descriptions below, you should participate and pitch in the E-Hub Incubator:

  • an innovative idea in response to a market need with the potential to scale 
  • an innovative idea with the potential for social impact and the potential to scale 
    • See Jobly, supported by the E-Hub Incubator, nominated to and pitched for the Hult Prize, see other pitches at Hult
  • a small business that may run locally 
    • For example, a restaurant in New England (also consider the E-Hub Catalyst Grant)
  • a professional, consulting or creative business 
    • For example, a marketing firm with or without AI (also consider the Catalyst Grant)
  • an extension of a family-business
    • This may lead to an innovative idea, a small business, a professional business or anything else
  • a side hustle 
    • For example, handmade products such as Jonis Handmade, supported by the E-Hub Incubator (also consider the Catalyst Grant)  
  • At this time, the E-Hub Incubator is not able to support the ETA (Entrepreneurship through Acquisition) pathway to entrepreneurship
