The Opportunity

The E-Hub Incubator is designed to assist teams led by members of the Bentley community to develop high-potential startup ventures by providing non-dilutive seed funding, mentoring and additional resources across three rounds of pitching.

Kick-off Session

Learn about the benefits of participating in the E-Hub Incubator, hear from Bentley alumni and from participants in previous editions of the E-Hub Incubator. Pick up tips about how to get ready, different incubator tracks, pointers about pitch decks and seed funding guidelines and more. And you can register for a chance to get up to $100 in early seed funding by simply confirming your participation in the E-Hub Incubator. When and Where: September 8, 2026. Starts 6PM. Living Room in the Student Center.

Pitch Presentations

When & Where
Date: October 8, 2026
Time: 6:00-9:00pm
Location: LaCava 305ABC 

Expected Outcomes
About 15-20 teams are expected to move forward (17 teams advanced during the 2025-26 edition).
Each selected team will receive $1,000 in seed funding and mentoring. 
Each selected team commits to developing their ideas and pitch in Phase 2.
Each team will have access to and commits to participating in the alumni-led training sessions.

Date: November 12, 2026
Time: 6:00-8:00pm
Location: LaCava 325ABC   

Teams selected to move forward during Phase 1 are invited to pitch in Phase 2.

Expected Outcomes
About 6-10 teams are expected to move forward (8 teams advanced during the 2025-26 edition).
Each selected team will receive $3,000 in seed funding, mentoring and additional resources such as a shared desk at CIC
Each selected team commits to developing their ideas and pitch in Phase 3.
Each team will have access to and commits to participating in the alumni-led training sessions.

Pitch Presentations

Date: February 4, 2027
Time: 6pm-8pm
Location: LaCava 325ABC

Teams selected to move forward during Phase 2 are invited to pitch in Phase 3.

Expected Outcomes
About 1-3 teams are expected to move forward (2 teams selected during the 2024-25 edition).
Each selected team will receive $10,000 in seed funding, mentoring and additional resources such as a shared desk at CIC
Each selected team will be vetted for nominations to external incubators and help for participating in these opportunities.
Each selected team may be invited to pitch their ideas to VCs in a closed door session. 
Each team will have access to and commits to participating in the alumni-led training sessions.
Each selected team commits to presenting their ideas, status, and future plans as we kick off the next cycle (September 2027).

  • The teams commit to sharing their progress, discussing any challenges faced, and remaining accountable for appropriately spending seed funding and focused on their goals.
  • The E-Hub will help connect the selected teams with potential investors as well as additional pitch competitions with our partners which can provide access to additional funds to develop your startup.
  • The teams also commit to presenting their ideas, current status, and future plans as we kick off the next cycle in September 2027.

Venture Tracks

Teams may choose to participate in a venture track that aligns with the primary focus of their startup. Tracks provide opportunities to connect with mentors, access additional resources and programming tailored to specific industries or domains, and helps you to connect with a community of like-minded entrepreneurs. The tracks include: Healthcare, Sustainability, and Technology. Teams may select the track that best aligns with their venture's primary focus.

Workshops and Training Sessions with Alumni

The Incubator includes a series of hands-on workshops designed specifically for participating teams. These sessions provide practical guidance on topics such as customer discovery, business models, financial planning, pitching, legal considerations, marketing, leadership, and venture growth. They are designed to equip teams with the knowledge and skills needed to make meaningful progress at each stage of the program.
