The Graduate Student Advisory Board advises on issues affecting the graduate and professional student experience. Comprising representatives across Bentley University’s graduate programs, the board meets approximately three times during the academic year with Heikki Topi, Associate Dean of Business, Academic Programs and Student Affairs, and Sean Ferguson, Vice President of Strategy & Innovation.
Graduate Student Advisory Board members enrich the graduate student experience, build leadership skills, and strengthen services and programs. This board contributes to the graduate student community at Bentley University by providing varied perspectives that enhance the academic, professional, and social experiences of graduate students at the university. They also provide valuable input for initiatives, resources, and services.
Tseveengerel Amgalan is passionate about enhancing the graduate experience at Bentley University and sees great opportunity to align academic learning with evolving industry demands. With a collaborative mindset and forward-looking perspective, Tseveengerel aims to contribute ideas that improve student engagement, curriculum relevance, and career readiness. Their appreciation for Bentley’s strengths and insights into analytics position them to support both current and prospective students effectively.
Nick Andriolo is a current MBA student and a Bentley undergraduate alumnus (Class of 2016). He brings a unique non-corporate perspective to his graduate studies through his role in managing his family business. His hands-on experience in operations and general management has provided practical insight into many of the courses he’s taken. While his undergraduate background may give him an academic advantage, he also notes areas of repetition that he’s eager to explore further as a member of the advisory board.
Ron Ayers, a part-time MBA student at Bentley, brings a wealth of professional experience from roles in venture-backed startups, consulting, and large corporations. Currently serving as Senior Manager of Product Management at Capital One Software, he mentors junior team members and contributes to nonprofit boards, including a long-standing leadership role with the Clarkson Alumni Association. His deep engagement with both professional and volunteer communities positions him to offer valuable insights to the Bentley community.
Afolashade Ayobami is a passionate advocate for inclusive academic communities and student empowerment. As a graduate student at Bentley, she actively engages with peers from diverse backgrounds and contributes to organizations that promote academic excellence and connection. With professional experience as a customer relationship officer in cross-cultural environments, she brings a global perspective, strong communication skills, and a deep commitment to equity and inclusion—qualities she hopes to contribute as a member of the Graduate Student Advisory Board.
Randy Estrin, an Alaskan Native and Native American graduate student, brings a valuable and underrepresented perspective to Bentley’s Graduate Student Advisory Board. As a first-generation college graduate and active member of Bentley’s Indigenous Education Steering Committee, he is deeply committed to educational equity and inclusion. His leadership experience with nonprofits and national organizations, including the American Indian College Fund and Haskell Indian Nations University, further strengthens his ability to advocate for diverse student voices and meaningful institutional change.
Kevin Koelsch offers a multifaceted perspective on Bentley University, having experienced it as a local high school prospect, an engaged undergraduate leader, and now as a graduate student balancing professional growth with academic opportunities. His deep Bentley spirit fuels a thoughtful critique of the graduate school’s evolving identity, especially its alignment with full-time working professionals. Kevin is eager to share his insights to help shape a more inclusive and responsive graduate experience.
Christian Mobong is a dedicated graduate student leader at Bentley, serving as both a Graduate Student Ambassador and President of the Graduate Accountancy Association (GAA). Through these roles, he has promoted Bentley to prospective students, strengthened his mentoring and communication skills, and led initiatives that foster professional development and community engagement. Pamy Montalvan brings a rich and diverse global perspective to Bentley, having been born and raised in Honduras and completed her undergraduate studies in Asia. Her cross-cultural experiences have shaped her strong cultural awareness and refined her communication skills, allowing her to connect meaningfully with others while sharing her own background. These qualities position her well to contribute to inclusive and globally minded initiatives within the graduate community.
Bobola Oniwura, a graduate student and member of the International Graduate Student Association (IGSA), is passionate about shaping inclusive and engaging graduate experiences at Bentley. With a background in digital marketing, design, and content creation, Bobola brings strong communication skills and strategic insight to initiatives that support academic, social, and professional development. Through the Graduate Student Advisory Board, Bobola aims to advocate for diverse student needs—especially those of international students—while continuing to grow as a leader and collaborator.
Tal Prottas brings a well-rounded perspective to Bentley, having completed his undergraduate degree in three years and now excelling as a graduate student while working full-time. He actively supports his peers with the internships process while securing his own at major accounting firms. He has also developed strong relationship with faculty members to balance academic commitments with observance of Jewish holidays. Tal uses his dedication to helping others and his deep connection to Bentley to benefit the Graduate Student Advisory Board.
