How do I add an item in Profile or Activities?

Introduction

As time goes on, you will continue to have more and more things to add to your Profile and Activities areas. Whether you are given an award, publish research, attend a conference, and so many others, you will want your information to reflect all the accomplishments and experiences you have gained.

Instructions

Step 1: If you haven’t already, log into Interfolio at: https://account.interfolio.com/sso

Step 2: Select Profile OR Activities from the menu on the left. 

 

Step 3: Whether you are in Profile or Activities, you will go to the section you want to change. If you cannot see the details of a specific item, select the blue triangle to see all the section’s information and review its details.

 

Step 4: At the bottom of the section that you would like to change, select the “Add” button.

 

Step 5: Complete the required fields and, if relevant, any optional fields that you would like. Remember that the fields might be slightly different than what you see below depending on what area you are editing. 

Additionally, recall that some information cannot be changed in Interfolio. To review what those items are and how to proceed, go to the Why can’t I edit certain fields in Interfolio? doc. 

 

Step 6: Once you have completed everything you would like, scroll to the bottom and you will see a number of save options. You can select whichever one is appropriate. You will most often select Save and Go Back, which will take you back to the Activities or Profile section.

 

Your new item will now appear!
