Seattle Post-Intelligencer. Professor of Marketing Rajendra Sisodia comments on an appearance by the Dalai Lama at the Seeds of Compassion conference in Seattle, Wash. Quantitative research backs the Dalai Lama’s view that corporate compassion can bring “a positive result” for a company’s bottom line, observes Sisodia, who profiles such organizations in his book Firms of Endearment (April 14, 2008). The newspaper and web site 7 Days (Dubai, UAE) enlists Sisodia to discuss the benefits of high-performance marketing, in “Brand New Thinking” (January 10, 2008).

Financial Times. Michael Page, joining Bentley on May 1 as dean of business and the McCallum Graduate School, is touted as one of the best-connected deans in Europe. The connections span both the academic and the corporate worlds, according to the article (March 5, 2008).

WBZ-TV/CBS Boston. A story about this year’s record-breaking number of college applicants features Vice President for Enrollment Management Joann McKenna and the Undergraduate Admission Office (February 19, 2008).

The New York Times. Mark Frydenberg, senior lecturer in computer information systems, discusses his use of the Microsoft program Popfly as an educational tool, in the article “Mashups Are Breaking the Mold at Microsoft” (February 10, 2008).
