The Medford (Mass.) Housing Authority has tapped Robert A. Covelle, Stoneham, Mass., to build its success as executive director.
Diane L. Leclair, Framingham, Mass., has been named chair of the VNA Care Network Foundation Board of Directors. She also was appointed a trustee for Fallon Clinic.

MKM Partners, an institutional equity trading and research firm, has appointed Michael P. Gallo ’MSA, Corte Madera, Calif., as senior research sales for its newly opened office in that Marin County town.

Heidi M. Orth, Richmond, Mass., assistant vice president and manager of the Legacy Financial Center, was selected the Virginia Allan Young Careerist for 2009. The award is presented by the Massachusetts Business and Professional Women’s Organization.
The Gaithersburg Marriott Washingtonian Center has tapped Michele L. Pajot, Waxhaw, N.C., as general manager. She will oversee strategic and daily operations of the 284-room hotel.

The Rev. Edward J. Arsenault ’MSF, a priest of the Diocese of Manchester, N.H., has been named president and CEO of Saint Luke University, Silver Spring, Md.
Newly relocated from Massachusetts to Haymarket, Va., Franklin Gorrell ’MSA has recorded a collection of songs on CD. While his motivation was personal rather than commercial, the alumnus quips, “If there are any Bentley grads in the music business, please feel free to call.”

Janak B. Joshi, Wakefield, Mass., is representing Massachusetts on the Obama-Biden transition team for health care reform, focusing on physician reimbursement, Medicare reform, and the cost of medical education.

Nicole (Gerke) Concordia, Minneapolis, Minn., graduated from the University of St. Thomas (Minn.) School of Law. Her contributions to the school, the profession, and the local community were recognized with two accolades: the UST Law Mission Award for Scholarly Engagement and Societal Reform and the UST Law Clinic Legal Education Association Student Award.

Chad A. Partridge ’08 MSREM, Skowhegan, Maine, is the proud owner of Cappza’s Pizza in Waterville. The pizzeria is 20 miles down the road from one that his mother and father took over 40 years ago.
Pianist and songwriter Werner Krings ’MSFP, Petersham, Mass., has produced a CD, In Your Presence. Another album is in the works.
Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Rhode Island has welcomed Mark Waggoner ’MBA, Hingham, Mass., as vice president and chief contracting officer. He oversees strategy and operations for the company’s provider contracting division.

Stretching a family tradition, Chad A. Partridge ’MSREM, ’07 BS, Skowhegan, Maine, has opened Cappza’s Pizza in Waterville. His parents have owned a pizzeria for 40 years.
