CNNMoney.com. Toni Wolfman, executive in residence at the Bentley Women’s Leadership Institute, is highlighted for research on women in positions of power; the story is “Gender Diversity on U.S. Boards Coming Anytime Soon?” (January 25, 2011).

WBZ-TV Boston. Bentley freshman Mark Bao is featured on the station’s news program for creating and selling a website, threewords.me,  that went viral overnight (January 24, 2011).

Bloomberg Businessweek.com. Professor of Economics Scott Sumner offers insight for the story “Economics’ Newest Thinking Comes from the Old Masters” (January 13, 2011). The news site also references Sumner’s blog, in “Your Underwater Mortgage Needs a Blow-Up Raft.” In addition, on National Public Radio, Sumner discusses the state of the domestic economy and the goal of the Federal Reserve's current strategy (October 15 and 29, 2010).

Boston.com. The website’s Green Blog highlights a student-led research project, in “Bentley Students Unveil Small Biz Thoughts on Energy Issues” (January 11, 2011).

The New York Times. Bentley’s state-of-the-art Trading Room is featured in “Where Homework is Managing a $200,000 Stock Portfolio.” The story was picked up by The Bulletin of central Oregon (December 29, 2010).

TIME.com. The magazine covers a study by Associate Professor of Economics Dhaval Dave; the research links unhealthy eating trends to unemployment (December 29, 2010). The story also appeared in The Wall Street Journal, Insidehighered.com, and New England Cable News, among others.

Associated Press. Bentley women’s basketball coach Barbara Stevens is featured for reaching a milestone 800 wins in her career (December 19, 2011). Other media to run with the story: Huffington Post, Boston.com, ESPNBoston, Yahoo, Forbes.com, WBZ-TV and New England Cable News.

MSNBC.com. Professor of Management Aaron Nurick explains what employees consider to be qualities of good and bad leaders, in “Is Your Boss a Bully, or Just a Tough Cookie?” (December 6, 2010).  

Financial Times. Bill Gribbons, director of the MS in Human Factors in Information Design program, discusses how technology is changing B-school teaching methods, in “Texting Times for Teachers” (November 15, 2010).

The Boston Globe. Bentley students are recognized for their work to fight bullying, in “Schools Tackle Bullying with Rallies, Information Sessions” (November 8, 2010). Others to report on the effort were the Patriot Ledger, Forbes.com, Yahoo News, Boston Business Journal, GlobeSt.com, and Digital Journal. 

China Radio International. Associate Professor of Marketing Nada Nasr joins in a discussion of the BP oil spill and its impact on the U.S. gross domestic product (October 22, 2010).

BizEd. The bimonthly magazine highlights a generous donation to Bentley from Pamela and Jack Cumming to create innovative leadership initiatives for female undergraduates (September/October 2010).
