Test Room Directions
- Students need to contact their professor at least one week in advance of an exam.
- If there is no timely contact with the professor, accommodations may be provided at the professor’s discretion.
- The student and professor arrange how the exam will be administered.
- Options include: beginning early, staying late, taking the exam in an empty classroom or during office hours, etc.
- It is the responsibility of the professor to coordinate the academic accommodation of extra time and/or a distraction reduced exam location.
- If it is impossible for the student and the professor to schedule the exam, exams can be scheduled in the Test Room (JEN 335).
- Exams begin at 9:00 am or 12:00 pm, Monday through Friday as well as 3:00 pm Wednesday for graduate students.
- To schedule in the Test Room, students should email their professor and include the following information:
NAME
DAY (Monday through Friday)
TIME (9 am or 12 pm ONLY)
ACCOMMODATIONS REQUESTED (include your extra time if applicable)
- The professor can then complete the Test Room Request Form.
- Student Accessibility Services is not responsible for completing any portion of the request form.
- Incomplete forms cannot be processed (this includes incomplete information about the student’s accommodations).
- The Test Room Request Form must be submitted (via the online link) to Student Accessibility Services at least two business days prior to the exam.
- Student Accessibility Services will confirm the request within one business day.
- Paper exams must be hand delivered to JEN 334.
- Student Accessibility Services cannot accept exams via email.
- Student Accessibility Services must receive the exam at least one business day prior to the exam date.
- No additional time will be given to students who are late for their exam.
- All professors and students utilizing the Test Room must read the Test Room Policies and Procedures document prior to the student’s exam date.
