This week-long summer program offers students a comprehensive exploration of the health and wellness industry. From fitness and nutrition to digital health and AI solutions, students will learn the business of this booming industry. Participants will blend hands-on experience with strategic frameworks like stakeholder analysis, design thinking, and behavior change theory. Through immersive field trips to a digital health partner and experiential learning in Bentley's VR classroom, participants gain firsthand insights into cutting-edge health and wellness technologies. From pitching a wellness innovation to setting health behavior goals, the program emphasizes both personal and professional skills needed for success in this field. By integrating business, technology, and the health industry, this program prepares students to lead in the evolving landscape of health and wellness innovation.

Danielle Hartigan

Danielle Blanch Hartigan, PhD, MPH is social scientist with interdisciplinary research and teaching interests in psychology and public health. Her research, broadly defined, aims to understand how psychological constructs influence the powerful relationship between healthcare providers and patients to foster patient-centered care and to improve patient perceptions of their care.
