This one-week course introduces high school students to the fundamentals of writing and producing short form media, such as films, advertisements, and PSAs. Through hands-on, collaborative group projects, students will develop their storytelling skills, craft compelling content and gain practical experience using professional production software and equipment. The course emphasizes teamwork and communication, preparing students for real-world creative collaboration. Industry guest speakers will also share insights, providing students with valuable perspectives on current media careers and trends.
In addition to gaining valuable media skills, participants experience life on a college campus by collaborating with peers, helping build confidence and preparing them for the academic and social aspects of university life.
