Tom is a seasoned leader in the investment sector with over 30 years of experience in the field. Most recently, Tom served as the chief financial officer of TA Associates in Boston, one of the oldest and largest private equity firms in the world, investing in technology, healthcare and consumer companies. As CFO, Tom was responsible for all financial, treasury and tax matters for the firm and its investment funds. Having joined the company in 1985, he held numerous roles including chief compliance officer and was previously responsible for legal and regulatory compliance, information systems, human resources and office management. Since opening its doors, TA Associates has invested more than $25 billion with over 500 companies. Tom holds a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy from Bentley and an MBA from Babson College and is a certified public accountant. He has served on the board of trustees since 2015.
