Danielle Blanch Hartigan, PhD, MPH is Executive Director of the Center for Health and Business and the Chester B. Slade Professor of Psychology at Bentley University. Her interdisciplinary research aims to improve the patient experience and foster patient-centered care. She has published over 80 articles in peer-reviewed journals across psychology, health communication, and medicine. She is the recipient of a Citation Award from the Society of Behavioral Medicine, a National Institutes of Health Merit Award, and in 2020, was named one of the 40 Under 40 in Cancer. Dr. Blanch Hartigan received a PhD in Psychology from Northeastern University, an MPH from Harvard TH Chan School of Public Health and served as a Cancer Prevention Fellow at the National Cancer Institute.
Andy works with the CHB and Executive Education (Office of Strategy and Innovation) to expand Bentley’s brand externally through new partnerships and programs. Andy has spent most of his professional career in business development roles for media and publishing outfits including The New York Times/The Boston Globe, Gannett, Nature Publishing Group and Booking Holdings. More recently, Andy served as the Head of Growth for InnoLead, a media and events company focused on corporate innovation. During his tenure with the organization, Andy developed a passion for strategy and innovation while securing funding for research and thought leadership from organizations like KPMG, Mastercard and Kaiser Permanente on topics such as trend scouting/emerging tech, creating culture and design as a competitive advantage.
Sherri focuses on promoting CHB’s programs and initiatives, supporting the Center’s Student Leadership & Impact Program, and enhancing the Center’s marketing and outreach efforts. Sherri brings experience in operations, event management, employee engagement, new hire onboarding and project management. She also spent two years in London working in strategic partnerships, where she built relationships and drove business initiatives in a global market. Sherri has a Bachelor of Arts in Communications & Public Relations from Westfield State University.
Prior to landing in higher education, Danielle Solar gained a variety of experience as a mental health counselor, research assistant, content editor, field marketer and project manager providing her with a diverse skill set. In her current role as a program director, Danielle wears many hats, primarily developing, implementing and managing programs and initiatives that foster the health ecosystem at Bentley University; managing program staff and students; collaborating across the university and with external partners to develop and implement cross-functional initiatives; and thinking strategically about new initiatives and how everything can fit together. Danielle has a Bachelor of Arts in psychology and sociology from Saint Michael’s College.

Alison Campbell is the founder of unBurnt®, a company on a mission to create workplaces where thriving is the norm. After beginning her career at Morgan Stanley, Alison has nearly two decades of experience in finance, e-commerce and HRTech - including leadership roles at Workhuman and Wayfair. After a health scare, she pivoted to address root causes of burnout, combining her operational expertise with a passion for sustainable leadership to transform how companies approach performance and employee health. She is especially committed to helping women feel less overwhelmed, equipping them with tools and practices to navigate competing demands with clarity, capacity, and confidence. A graduate from Bentley University with a degree in Finance, Alison also holds certifications as a Health & Wellness Coach and Human-Centered AI Leadership.
Bob is a senior financial executive with 35 years of global strategic and operating experience across multiple disciplines within the life sciences industry, including cytokines, proteins, peptides, cellometry, precision medicine, digital patient data and sequencing, delivery systems, drug discovery, medical products, and pharmaceuticals. Bob has served as CFO for PeproTech, Inc. (now part of Thermo Fisher Scientific), New England Peptides, Nexcelom Biosciences ( now part of Perkin Elmer), Backpack Health (now, part of Konica Minolta Precision Medicine), Cutis Pharma (now, Azurity Pharmaceuticals), Arsenal Medical, 480 Biomedical (now, Lyra Therapeutics), Claritas Genomic (a Boston Children's Hospital sipinout), BioNevia Pharmaceuticals, Consortium of Rheumatoid Researchers of North America, (now part of Thermo Fisher Scientific), PatientsLikeMe (now, part of United Health Group) and Biosphere Medical (now, part of Merit Medical). Bob founded Oxus Medical (Oximetry in Cardiac Resynchronization) and Tesa Medical (Orthopedics). Bob earned his MBA in Finance and Entrepreneurship from Babson College, Wellesley, Massachusetts.
Student Leadership and Impact Program
Working closely with the Center for Health and Business, the Student Leadership and Impact Program (SLIP) provides undergraduate and graduate students with hands-on experiences and learning opportunities to develop leadership skills and meaningfully contribute to the impact of the business of health.
