Campus Guidelines

Face Masks: Optional, but may be requested in certain classrooms, offices and spaces. Download mask signage.

Vaccination: No longer required, but strongly encouraged. Vaccine clinics are held regularly throughout the Fall semester.

Testing: COVID test kits are available in the Wellness Vending Machine (STU Back Bays), the Falcon Mart, and at most local pharmacies. Full-time students with symptoms can schedule an appointment at the Health Center.

Isolation: Follow MA DPH isolation guidance if you test positive for COVID-19 or Flu or have respiratory illness symptoms. Students should isolate at home or in-place in their current housing assignment. Arrangements for missed work should be discussed directly with your professors or employer.

Isolate if you test positive for COVID-19 or Flu, or have symptoms of a respiratory illness

Stay home if you have fever, cough, sore throat, or congestion:

  • Consider testing for COVID-19 and/or flu
    • COVID tests are available in the Wellness Vending Machine (Student Center Back Bays) and at the Falcon Mart
    • Full-time students can schedule an appointment with the Health Center
  • Isolate at your home residence or in-place in your current housing assignment
    • Wear a mask when you can't avoid others, such as roommates/suitemates
    • Practice good hygiene and clean high-touch surfaces
    • Pick up takeout meals while masked. Reusable takeout containers are available at the 921 for a one-time fee
  • Contact your professors or employer directly to discuss arrangements for your absence

Resume activities if:

  • You're fever-free for 24+ hours (without medication), AND
  • Symptoms are improving

For 5 days after resuming activities:

  • Wear a mask indoors
  • Avoid crowded spaces and high-risk individuals
  • Continue hygiene practices

If symptoms worsen or fever returns:

  • Restart isolation
