The Harold S. Geneen Institute of Corporate Governance pursues original and leading-edge research on important corporate governance issues. It is committed to bridging research with practice through lecture series, informal colloquia, and workshops. Our goal is to provide a forum for business leaders, scholars, board members and students to come together to tackle the pivotal governance issues of our time. We do this by hosting/sponsoring various events including the Geneen Speaker Series, ICGS conferences, and doctoral workshops. See our past events page for more details.

Given Bentley University’s mission to educate ethical and socially responsible organizational leaders via impactful knowledge within and across business and the arts and sciences, we created the Bentley Alliance for Ethics and Social Responsibility (BAESR) in 2003. The role of the BAESR is to amplify and extend the work of the autonomous centers and initiatives on campus, supporting and encouraging greater awareness of, respect for, and commitment to ethics, service, social responsibility and sustainability in our research, curricula and campus culture. The Harold S. Geneen Institute of Corporate Governance is proud to be a partner in the Alliance.
