Bentley University is once again offering a unique experience for high school students this summer with the Wall Street 101 business camp.  Held on the Bentley campus in Waltham, Mass., the week-long program allows high school students to engage in the fundamentals of Wall Street through a technology-rich and interactive curriculum.

At the worldwide summit, held at IEDC-Bled School of Management in Bled, Slovenia, from March 16 – 21, 2012, a group of 80 exceptional youth from 45 countries will join educators and business and political leaders to explore the global agenda and share their solutions to global challenges.

The sold out event brings together UX professionals from top tech firms and leading corporations around the country – representing some of the top tech firms and leading corporations to explore user experience research and design, and discuss why UX is the dominant competitive advantage in extremely diverse industries. 

Bentley University juniors and seniors enrolled in the Human Relations in Healthcare Organizations class, led by Psychology Professor Helen Meldrum, were recently invited to work with the Publicis Healthcare Communications Group, a global leader in healthcare communications.

Bentley University is giving high school student Brian Rodgers the chance to play in the big leagues as he participates in an internship with the Boston Red Sox. Through the “Break into the Business of Baseball” program, sponsored by Bentley and MLB.com, Rodgers will complete a one-month internship during summer 2012 with the Boston Red Sox .

Bentley sophomore Paul Cheek, and 2011 graduates Vikram Chabra and Monil Kothari were recognized for co-founding Luvn’ Local, a technology-driven loyalty platform that networks small, locally owned businesses and rewards customers for their support. 

Four Bentley University professors received the university’s 2011 Innovation in Teaching awards: Lynn Arenella, Mike Frank, James Pepe, and David Szymanski.

Bentley University announces a call for submissions to doctoral candidates to submit papers for consideration in the fourth annual Next Generation ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) Workshop, held in conjunction with the Bentley Global Business Ethics Symposium the week of May 20, 2012.

During the Fall 2011 semester, Bentley University juniors and seniors enrolled in the Human Relations in Healthcare Organizations class, led by Psychology Professor Helen Meldrum, were invited to work with the Massachusetts Health Council to help the assess the growing problem of low health literacy in relation to patients’ understanding of their prescription, over-the-counter and alternative medications.

A documentary about the life and research of Daniel Everett, dean of arts and sciences at Bentley University, has captured international attention at one of the most prestigious film festivals in the world for television documentaries.
