Bentley Announces Partnership with Kuwait College of Science and Technology
Bentley University is partnering with Kuwait College of Science and Technology (KCST) to provide a new Executive Education program for Kuwaiti business leaders.
The program offered through KCST’s Centre of Innovation and Continuing Education and Training is designed to equip mid-career professionals with the knowledge and skills they need to lead and succeed in an ever-evolving global marketplace. Courses explore a variety of leadership and management topics including corporate governance, digital transformation and global sustainability that emphasize the importance of leveraging the power of business to address the world’s economic, social and environmental challenges.
“Throughout my career, I’ve seen the impact that business education can have on improving society and changing lives for the better,” says Bentley President E. LaBrent Chrite, who has worked to strengthen education in the Middle East, Africa, Asia and other parts of the world. “This partnership will allow Bentley to do what we do best — extend business knowledge and practices to executives in Kuwait to empower them to make a positive difference in their companies, their country and the Middle East region."
Courses are delivered in Kuwait City by internationally recognized Bentley faculty who are engaged in research that addresses issues affecting the global business community. The initial programs will include a certificate “Leadership Accelerator” program led by Paul Tesluk, Bentley’s provost and vice president for Academic Affairs, and “Corporate Governance, ESG and the Digital World,” taught by Cynthia Clark, John W. Poduska Professor of Governance and founding director of Bentley’s Geneen Institute for Corporate Governance. Other leadership and management courses will be added that draw upon the expertise of Bentley and KCST faculty in areas such as artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, financial technology and entrepreneurship.

The partnership with KCST supports Bentley’s Falcons Forward 2030 strategic plan, which calls for forging partnerships that respond to the changing needs of the global business community and creating non-degree programs that align with workforce needs in dynamic, high-growth markets.
